CHOCOLATE & inclusions
I use a high quality Single Origin Colombian Chocolate from a producer that buys cacao from farmers that are part of a co-operative, meaning they are fairly paid for their cacao. I chose this 60% Dark Chocolate for my products because this blends perfectly with the inclusions I use to create my signature flavours. All ingredients where possible are natural, including extracts & oils, petals, dried fruits or nuts. I am passionate about bringing you authentic flavours, & believe in getting what you pay for, which is why my bars are packed full of ingredients for a truly luxury taste experience.
All of my products really are handmade, I hand blend, hand mould, & hand pack each & every bar!
PASSIONATE ABOUT THE PLANET
I want to watch my companies eco-footprint as well as produce great quality, tasty products. This is why Taboo Choc is a plastic free company. I use certified compostable bags for my bars, alongside kraft cardboard boxes & paper labels, as well as cardboard postal cartons & even paper tape.
Where I can, I ensure that I source ingredients & packaging from plastic free companies, & recycle any packaging materials that are received from external suppliers.
I'm Kat, I lovingly hand make each & every bar in my Wiltshire Workshop. I have 15 years experience in the food industry in manufacturing & quality control. I am also trained in EU labelling, Level 3 Food Safety, HACCP & COSHH, so your chocolate bars are in very qualified hands.
I started Taboo in 2016 because I have always enjoyed working with chocolate, & I wanted to create my own products with my own ideas to bring customers luxury, artisan products. My bars are inspired by my own taste & travel experiences to bring something personal to both my items & my brand, & I strive to bring authentic flavours into my products to give you the best taste experiences.
